Tuya not sending events to Apilio or Apilio not receiving them today

My Tuya devices are working normal and sending me event notifications remote on my devices , but since early morning today 10 Nov A04: am approx they have not been logged with Apilio in events log.
has any one had this issue? l have did the normal stuff and reconnected Tuya with Apilio.

the logiblockes work ok when l manual test to forward to ifttt

Same here, and nice to know I’m not the only one!

Nothing from Tuya since just after 3 am (UK). I found that my Tuya Authorisation needed re-authing, but that didn’t help. Apilio seems to have lost the internal link between Apilio Device and Tuya Device.

I’ve emailed Apilio directly with the problem, but no reply. However, thinks do seem to be changing on the Apilio site, although not working yet!

I’d like my central heating back…!

can you expand on Things seem to be changing on the Apilio site?
as of 13:40 UK time still no events logged and still on triggers for ifttt so nothing working

No, mine’s still not working - but when I checked just before I posted my last message there seemed to be a subtle change to the linking layout, which made me think someone might be working on it. Seems to be back to where it was, now.

Has this happened before and how regular? do you know?

I’ve never had it happen before. I just wish I could get a reply from Apilio - I need to get this fixed!

also me, and l am surprised no one else has been on, or any mention of it when l search online for down time

Same here… Tuya and Apilio are not working

my Tuya is working on our mobile app devices and ipad

Well, that makes 3 of us! I hope someone in Apilio notices soon.

oh dear and still no reply from Apilio

Same here.
I also tried reauthenticating TUYA in Apilio but that didn’t work.
If I trigger an Apilio logic block it will turn on the light/device so that appears to be functional.
The issue for me is that my device status attributes are not updating on any devices which means all of my conditions using them are failing.

Since this morning, I’ve had to re-authenticate with Tuya 3 times - but still nothing from Tuya into Apilio.

yes l can turn on or trigger with manual logicblock test, and it works and sent triggers to ifttt,
But why nothing from Apilio or Tuya

is there a temporary workaround which will help in the meantime, does anyone know

Hi there, sorry foe letting you waiting. Iā€˜m going to look into the issue!

Hi all,

from a first quick assessment, it is clear that from around 03:00 UTC Tuya has stopped pushing messages to the Apilio queue. Therefore I expect that no users on Apilio is receiving data at the moment, which is different to cases in the past, where individual users had problems with incoming data.
We are going to contact Tuya support and dig deeper in the log files.

Hi Peter, do you have any idea of a timeline for this type of issue to be resolved?

Hi @Aqua ,

it’s Philipp, but no worries :slightly_smiling_face:

Current status:

  • Ticket opened at Tuya to urgently help with the issue
  • Authentication with Tuya and sending commands via Apilio seems to work fine. So the issue is ā€œonlyā€ with the receiving of data from Tuya
  • We did not deploy a change affecting the interface for weeks, and also no configuration change on either side lately.
  • There is no apparent issue with our listener service - everything looks very normal
  • The Tuya app continues to work fine - which is not unexpected, as it seems to use another (internal) interface than 3rd party services are offered

Here’s a sad image where the sudden stop of messages is visible:

This is an unprecedented incident for us and I cannot give an estimate when it will be fixed. Can be any minute or days.
I suggest you try to find a ā€œbackupā€ mode where you can operate the basic function without Apilio logic.
