I general only buy products that are Tuya Smartlife compatible so I can get the quickest response times using Apilio
I wondered if anyone has had any experience with Switchbot / IFFFT intergration

Yeah it works well! Quick to turn switchbot on and off, probably my wife’s favourite automation integration.

Great, good to know, thought I might have to use the rest API 
and I haven’t even started to look at that (I’m so novice to this i don’t even know where to start IE so I need an intermediate server)
Things I’m interested in using are the door and motion sensor

You’re a bit more sophisticated than me I think but I certainly didn’t need to resort to the API yet…
I don’t yet so long as IFTTT and SwitchBot work as well as I hope
