I suppose this should come as no surprise and had heard Samsung had lost interest in manufacturing the hardware and passed it onto Aeotec.

Thanks for the link - nice article with bad news though… As the author points out, most of these people will probably not follow Samsung and choose Home Assistant instead.

Agreed, if they had already used the SmartThings IDE, moving over to Home Assistant is not that much of a leap.
