I just got the info that there is a new service integration in IFTTT. The company Intellithings offers bluetooth based person detection in rooms: https://www.intellithings.net/smart-home-and-office

I wonder how accurate this service is… it must not be easy to detect if someone is in a room using Bluetooth… rooms can be of very different sizes, and Bluetooth waves can easily expand to other rooms

Me too! Similar systems have been around for quite some time, but the technology never had a big breakthrough.
