Rate Limits at Apilio

In order to ensure stability and fair use of Apilio, there is a number of rate limits in place.
This page is an overview of all rate limits.

Logicblock

The allowed number of concurrently active Logicblock is defined by the subscription. Inactive Logicblocks can be up to 300.

Condition

The allowed number of conditions (all variants combined) is defined by the subscription.

Variables

The allowed number of variables (all variants combined) is defined by the subscription.

E-Mail Notification

Sending E-Mails per month: According to subscription

Apilio Action

Each action is measured and - if necessary - suspended individually. The reason to limit the use of an action is to stop endless loops.
Rate Limit: 10 runs in 20 seconds. The suspend time is 10 seconds.

Webhooks

Calling a webhook of any type: 60 requests in 60 seconds. The suspend time is 5 minutes.

Rest API (if feature available in your plan)

Any REST API operation: 60 requests in 60 seconds. The suspend time is 5 minutes.

IFTTT

Updating a variable or triggering a Logicblock: 60 requests in 60 seconds. The suspend time is 5 minutes.

Log entries:

  • Available according to your plan
  • Maximum 6000

Various elements

You are allowed to create up to 150 elements of these types

  • Devices
  • Tags

For actions, the limit is 500 of each type.
