Have just found out an excellent insider’s tip from @cristovao.alves regading the new tagging functionality - if you choose “dashboard” as a tag on an item then the item will automagically show up on your dashboard without any need to select the favourite star. As I’m writing this it sounds kind of obvious but I had no idea and 
maybe I’m not the only one. Enjoy!
