Hello dear community! ![]()
We’re excited to announce a new feature: Push Notifications are now available in Apilio! ![]()
You can now receive notifications directly in your browser or on your mobile device. This makes it easier to setup, as you don’t need to configure an IFTTT action.
What’s new?
Push notifications work with the Warn and Suggest execution modes of your logicblocks:
Suggest mode: Get a notification asking you to accept suggested actions - if you don’t respond in time, nothing happens.
Warn mode: Actions are queued and will run automatically. You get a notification with the chance to cancel before they execute.
Just click the notification and you’re taken straight to Apilio to confirm or cancel - it’s that simple.
How to get started
- Go to Settings → Location and notification settings
- Click Enable in the Push notifications card
- Allow notifications in your browser
- Done!

You can enable push on multiple devices (up to 20), and each one will receive its own notification.
If you have already setup IFTTT notification, that setup will continue to work until you switch to browser push notifications.
Browser support
Push notifications work on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari on iOS (when installed as a home screen app). On macOS, we recommend using Chrome for the best experience.
For the full documentation, check out the Push Notifications guide.
As always, we’d love to hear your feedback! Let us know what you think. ![]()
