So, the version 1.0 of Matter is finally out!
It probably changes the smart home market profoundly. Maybe it will take some time until the products around it are fully developed, but if the standard is broadly adopted, this could be a great development for consumers.
I haven’t found the actual specs yet - maybe there are still going to be given only to alliance members. What is available is a SDK to build matter applications.
For now, we don’t know how we can connect Matter devices to Apilio. It will probably be possible through one of the controller makers (e.g. Google could develop an API for the cloud). We will follow this of course!
